Watch Materials & Quality
What materials are used in your watches?
Our watches are crafted from premium materials including stainless steel cases, sapphire crystal glass, genuine leather and stainless steel straps, and select models feature natural wood elements. Each watch is designed to combine durability with style.
What is sapphire crystal and why does it matter?
Sapphire crystal is one of the hardest materials used in watchmaking (rated 9 on the Mohs scale), making it highly scratch-resistant. Watches with sapphire crystal glass offer superior clarity and long-lasting protection compared to standard mineral glass.
Are your wooden watches durable?
Yes. Our wooden watches are made from carefully selected and treated natural wood, making them lightweight and unique. Each piece has its own natural grain pattern. We recommend keeping wooden watches away from prolonged water exposure to preserve the finish.
Waterproofing & Water Resistance
Are your watches waterproof?
Many of our watches are water-resistant. The level of water resistance varies by model and is indicated in the product description (e.g., 3 ATM, 5 ATM, 10 ATM). Please check the specific product page for details.
What do the water resistance ratings mean?
- 3 ATM / 30m: Splash-proof – suitable for rain and hand washing, not for swimming.
- 5 ATM / 50m: Suitable for swimming and light water activities.
- 10 ATM / 100m: Suitable for snorkeling and water sports.
Note: Water resistance can degrade over time. We recommend having the seals checked periodically by a watchmaker.
Movement Types & Battery Life
What is the difference between automatic, mechanical, and quartz movements?
- Quartz: Battery-powered, highly accurate, low maintenance. Requires a battery replacement every 1–3 years.
- Mechanical (manual wind): Powered by a mainspring that must be wound by hand regularly. No battery needed.
- Automatic: Self-winding mechanical movement powered by the natural motion of your wrist. No battery needed.
How long does the battery last on quartz watches?
Battery life varies by model, but most quartz watches last between 1 and 3 years on a single battery. When the second hand starts moving in 2-second intervals instead of 1-second, it's time to replace the battery.
Do automatic watches need servicing?
Yes. Automatic and mechanical watches benefit from a service every 3–5 years to keep the movement running accurately and to maintain water resistance seals.

Watch Care & Maintenance
How should I care for my watch?
- Wipe the case and strap regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid exposing your watch to extreme temperatures, strong magnetic fields, or harsh chemicals (perfumes, solvents).
- Store your watch in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- For leather straps, avoid prolonged water exposure to prevent cracking.
- For wooden watches, apply a small amount of natural oil occasionally to maintain the wood's finish.
How do I adjust the time on my watch?
Pull the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch) out to the first or second position to set the time or date. Push it back in when done. For specific instructions, refer to the manual included with your watch.
Sizing & Fit
How do I know which watch size is right for me?
Watch case diameter is the key measurement. As a general guide:
- 36–38mm: Suits smaller wrists or a classic, understated look.
- 40–42mm: A versatile, popular size for most wrists.
- 44mm+: Bold, sporty look suited for larger wrists.
Case thickness also affects how the watch sits on your wrist. Check the product specifications on each product page for exact dimensions.
Can I adjust the strap or bracelet?
Yes. Metal bracelets can be adjusted by removing links, which can be done by a local jeweler or watchmaker. Leather and rubber straps typically have multiple holes for adjustment. If you need help with sizing, feel free to contact us.
